Outings – Scouts

• Equipment Checklist: Scouts should fill out this form to help pack for our campouts. Younger scouts in particular should have their parent or guardian review this list with them before every camp out.  Be prepared!
• Patrol Duty Roster and Meal Planner: Patrol Leaders, make sure that this is filled out before we leave for an outing. For car camping trips, our scouts plan, shop, and cook as patrols. For backpacking adventures, scouts may either plan meals as patrols, or individually, depending on the trip.

Outings – Scouters

• Local Tour Permit: For local trips of less than 500 miles. This form must be filed with the Council office two weeks in advance of trip.
• National Tour Permit For trip of over 500 miles. This form must be filed with the Council office at least one month before the trip.
• Guide to Safe Scouting: A must read before any outing. This BSA publications describes current BSA policy regarding outings.
• BSA Activity Consent Form: Necessary from time to time for certain activities.  We’ll let you know when this is required.
