10th of January, 2018: Local Species and Webelos

meeting1_10_18

This meeting was all about flora and fauna, as our Troop split between stations and was quizzed on native trees, plants, and insects. We had all split into our respective patrols, and cycled from teacher to teacher, as we learned about everything from moths to manzanitas.

As the meeting drew to a close, we all lined up for a rousing game of capture the flag. After a long match of mildly confused sprinting, we soon realized that one team had forgotten to hide their flag! We all had a good laugh, then circled up.

More importantly, throughout all of this, we were joined by a large company of Webelos! Hopefully they consider joining our lovely troop! ⚜
